I want to try something different this time. I have been reading Leo Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina for two months now and I figured I should write about the lessons of this amazing book. This novel contains many profound issues such as love, betrayal, the delicate contrasts of high society and provincial life, the joys and sorrows of family life, and many more. I haven’t finished reading it but I already understand why this novel is considered to be one of, if not, the greatest of all time.
Like I said, there are many issues and themes in this book that are all worthy of discussion; and throughout the story, the concept of appreciation is inherent in all those issues. I plan on bringing out the philosophy of appreciation in this book for the next few posts. I hope you, my dear readers, will like it.
